No matter which type of working dog you look at, as a group they are generally large breeds which show a large amount of strength. Due to this, you may want to ensure you have them well trained if you plan to own a breed from this group. Socializing them well from a young age is also important so you can trust your pooch playing with other pups. The best thing about owning a larger breed of dog is that there is more to cuddle!
The working dog breeds are usually known for their loyalty and intelligence. You working dog will excel in obedience classes and usually be pretty quick to learn your commands. Due to their nature, they will want regular attention and daily walks as they can get bored pretty easily due to their need to stay active.
